I’m so tired about hearing Ron Paul’s name that I decided to actually see what he’s all about.

"Modern day prophet" - classic. Yeah I was leaning towards Ron Paul until I checked some of his domestic ideas myself. The abortion ban alone is enough to guarantee he's unelectable.

The only good thing is that this might help keep Clinton out of office, even though it more than likely means Giuliani will be president. Lesser of two evils.

Is Ron Paul perfect?

Of course not. I've never known of a president who I agreed with everything they said.

Is he the best choice we have?

Hell yes he is. He's the most level headed candidate I've seen in a long time. If you disagree, I'm fairly sure it's just because you aren't really listening.

"Ron Paul Fatigue" is definitely going to set in, if it hasn't already, from the endless and similar headlines on every social news website.

So, bulshoy, since you looked into Ron Paul's platform, I'm sure you did what any unbiased person would do, and checked into the other candidate's platforms too, right?

So who exactly would be the better choice in your opinion and why?

Sorry, buddy, but this ed was in bad taste if you ask me.

Sorry kids but I'm with Bulshoy on this one. I firmly believe that the proliferation of firearms increases violence so anything to slow down that process is a good thing in my opinion.

A woman's right to choose shouldn't be messed with, period.

The public education system is a mess but giving up on it isn't the answer, funding it is.

His foreign policy is pretty short sighted but I somehow agree with it. So while I don't believe he's the best candidate I'd still vote for him if I was registered Republican. The reason being is his crazy ideas won't make it past a congress he doesn't control so I'm not scared of his radical ideas.

My question to you all is this, when was the last time a non governor won the presidency?

Maybe it's just because I am from western Canada ( which pretty much guarantees whoever is elected Prime Minister is not going to give a shit about us )but do politicians really keep any of their promises? Look at what he is against (abortion alone would make me not want him in)He will keep his stance against the things he says, then turn around go back on the promises you are worshipping him for.

Modern day prophet? Why do people try and criticize Ron Paul. It will never work. ?

What in the fuck? Is he your new Jesus? Why don't you guys write a damn Ron Paul Bible.

"No but it will get die-hard Ron Paul supporters like yourself commenting."

Touche, lol.

@Hyena

Of course you struck a chord and an irritating one at that. I'd compare it to the sound a child makes when they cry about something trivial. It's like listening to a baby cry when you're at a movie. That's as far as it goes, however, as everything else you babble on about is as ridiculous and pointless as this article. You claim the navy as hardened you up, but from what I've seen you still get butthurt over something like this.

Anyway, for now my vote will stick with Ron Paul. Maybe one day I may change my mind for someone like Fred or another candidate. There's plenty of time.

A follow-up might be in order. I'll gladly look at other candidates and decide which I would vote for. I can't put it all into one editorial though, unless you don't mind a 10000 word editorial.

Home schooling also doesn't have to be done by the parents. I knew a girl who was home schooled and she took classes in a lady's basement with a few other kids.

FidoMeet Joe Sixpack
Howdy everybody, Joe Sixpack here. I never met you all before, but I was having some pops last night with my bud Fido and he said if I wrote this down, he’d fix up the spellun’ and put it on the internet. He’s mostly full of shit, but I did it anyway. This is about Thursday night. The wife had the kids at football practice and going by her sister’s and I was home tipping back some cold ones and looking for something to watch on TV. I seen the debate thing was on b...

As we know, everyone in Washington DC are assholes of varying degree. Last week we called Sarah Palin out for being a dumb cunt and an asshole. And that's coming from me. If you're actually voting for Palin, people named cadpig, you're a dumb asshole enabler. Palin is worthless and would have the US on a road to destruction that would involve hurting our allies too. What's even more disturbing than people who watched Palin on Katie Couric wanting to vote for her ...
