I’m so tired about hearing Ron Paul’s name that I decided to actually see what he’s all about.

Bash it guys. Bulshoy hates freedom and loves tyranny. Bush for life, right Bul?

I'm sure veterans who not only didn't want to go over there, yet have had to witness their friends become ripped apart by hostile fire feel loved when the freedoms they joined to protect are being taken away by the very government they swore to uphold.

Old men declare war, but it is the youth who must fight and die.

Ron Paul is probably the only chance this hopeless nation has for some sort of stability and freedom.

As for the "Guns are bad" mentality, ponder this: If everyone carried a gun and knew how to use it, would there be as much crime? Who would lack the common sense and attempt to rape an innocent women or attack a random person with the knowledge that they were armed and had the capacity and will to kill them. If a bully comes to school with the intent to cause mass casualties he gets a few rounds in him by his fellow classmates before he has the chance to do much. Is it so wrong if it's truly the lesser of evils? And if a criminal is destroyed, why should we care? One less predator in our society. To live in a world of killers you must be prepared to kill. A man with a gun is a citizen. A man without one is a victim.

I'm sure people will say i'm just a gun nut, but i'm not. Look at your world before being so quick to judge.

And this line

"Ron Paul will never be president, despite the support of millions of non-voters on the internet"

is simply idiotic. Are you suggesting that the countless cars I see on a daily basis with Ron Paul stickers actually belong to non-voters? Are you suggesting that myself, along with many of my peers and colleagues, are non-voters? Are you suggesting that when I go to a Ron Paul 'meet and greet', I'm actually meeting hundreds upon hundreds of cardboard cut-outs who can't really vote? Are these people figments of my imagination? You can see that all the way from Canada?

I'm sorry bulshoy, I've still got lots of respect for you, but this piece of crap editorial is way below you. I'm quite disappointed.

"Bulshoy this is by far your worst editorial (if you can even call it that?), I would expect more from zero."

It's all fun until someone says something you disagree with.

This site has seen religion bashed, celebrities, races, countries and just about everything under the sun.

Why is it suddenly unacceptable to be critical of a politician? Is Ron Paul's support so weak that one critical write-up is gong to sink his campaign?

"Yaay free speech! Oh wait, you're dissing Ron Paul? Hang him! BURN HIM!!"

nothing confuses me more than people who are afraid of individual rights like the author of this editorial appears to be. There are clearly 2 frames of mind . People who think the government can and will protect them from cradle to grave and don't want to make decisions as long as the government says "it will be OK". Then there are the people who understand history and have common sense and realize that people who give up their liberties for security get neither.

@ squirl

"Are you suggesting that the countless cars I see on a daily basis with Ron Paul stickers belong to non-voters?"

No, I am suggesting, based on the dozens of internet polls, articles and other Ron Paul related bits posted on ShoutWire, that many (maybe most) of Ron Paul's supporters are teenaged bandwagon jumpers who aren't old enough to vote, or non-Americans.

"Bulshoy hates freedom and loves tyranny. Bush for life, right Bul?"

"I'm either with you or with the Bush-ites", right?

Does nobody else see the hilarious irony here?

I don't get why Ron Paul supporters can't take criticism. Saying anything bad, or even suggesting you don't support him is the Catholic equivalent of dry-humping the crucifix over St. Peters' altar during Easter Mass.

Vote for Ron Paul, explain why he should be president rather than just condemn anyone who thinks he shouldn't.

Have half the people in here who are shitting bricks taken the time to do the simple research Bulshoy has?

Geez, the election's a year away, pace yourselves, there's a lot more to come out on all the candidates.

@Bulshoy, no, it really is a horrendously crappy article.

The point being, that "Ron Paul.", being a super-isolationist libertarian nutter, will keep the USA firmly out of the rest of the world's affairs with respect to politics, meaning no more CIA-funded drug trade or orgies with brutal dictators, and no more "war on terrr" or "war on drugs" (the last thing isn't that bad, I guess).

Meaning, in turn, no more war buildup in Iran, meaning no more support for Israel, meaning no nukes or other unfriendly items flying about, Palestinians and Israelis duking it out fairly, leave the fuckers be, and the rest of the world slowly easing out of the shithole created by the USA (and creating more shitholes in turn, but those can be fixed by more Ron Pauls).

Big fucking whoop people get extended right to home school, big fucking whoop that these people will get to university. In the British system, if they're truly as stupid as you said, they'd drop out long before.

The abortion rule, why does that matter? More power to the states, meaning that the Bible Belt can have their degenerate incest-born fetuses which would otherwise have been aborted and the rest of them can have their choices. Rich (time and money, time and money) enough to get fucked and have a child, rich enough to go to another state for an abortion.

Given that this guy claims to be their constitution in human form, he'll be out by 2012 if it really is so shitty.

There's one reason non-Americans support Ron Paul. I think it's fucking obvious too.

Opinion is opinion man, do what you do. I feel like most of these people flyin off the handle are ron paul supporters who will probably FORGET be too lazy to get out to vote and fuck themselves anyways. lol

Personally I'd rather seen Paul in there than anyone else on the ballot... Unless Colbert pulls off a miracle lol. But as a Canadian, I could give a fuck, if the worlds coming to an end, im going down shooting lol.

Anyways, my point: No one is perfect, but sometimes your option is only who is the least terrible. And right now by comparison, Ron Paul doesn't look so bad.

As far as the editorial: Children please, its shoutwire not the new york times. Im sure whether he wins or loses... this thread had no influence. So please, take a step back and look at the last couple hours of your life... Proud? lol

ps. Bul, lemme know who you WOULD vote for if you could.

On the homeschooling issue....first of all I don't think there are many high school dropout redneck fathers who are interested enough in their child's education to even put forth the effort to home school. They are all content to let their kids go to public school they are too lazy to do otherwise. Second, every homeschooled kid I have every known (and they are an uncommon thing) has had dedicated parents and has ended up with better grades and doing better in college than the publicly schooled children. Public schools are a joke anyway so unless you are talking about private schooling which most people cannot afford then your argument here has no bearing.

Abortion I will not address as that is the candidate's own moral belief and choice, you either agree or not. IF not then don't vote for him.

Foreign policy he is right on, we don't need to be nation building and invading other countries especially when there is no evidence to substantiate claims of WMDs and nuclear threats.

The north american union? face it it is not a myth. The mexican president already came public with the fact that he met with Bush in private and they agreed to bring in a new amero currency so you have no clue what you are talking about, the plans are already in place. Not to mention any fool can see that the chairman of the federal reserve's deplorable actions and refusal to answer standard questions are obviously intentionally to bring the dollar down on purpose. The dollar has to crash before they can change currency and obviously they are not doing anything to protect it. They are only taking actions to degrade our dollar. I hate to say it but again you have no clue what you are talking about, and as such have no business even talking about politics, much less bringing down the only decent presidential candidate we have.

Maybe he doesn't stand a chance, but if we all think that then he really doesn't. I say we let our voting do the talking and hopefully he can get the nomination...otherwise our nation is going down the crapper for sure if any of the others get into office. I think that he actually has a good chance if we let our voices be heard and take a stand to save our country. The rest of them are supportive of the CFR, Trilateral commission etc, all of which obviously have the motives for destroying our national sovereignty. Why would you want this kind of traitorous scum in power? Are you really that ignorant? Stick to topics you can actually comment on without looking like a fool.

As much as I hate the way the republican party has gone....please get out and spread the word. Register republican and get Ron the nomination. Take action and be a true patriot for once. LET OUR COLLECTIVE VOICES BE HEARD!!! The mainstream media is full of shit...they will not let you believe he has a shot but he does, don't let those assholes fool you. They only bring him down because they are scared and desperate to keep him out of office. Anyways for the naysayers, why not name a single candidate that is better? He is the only one willing to get rid of the criminal federal reserve which is bleeding our nation dry and destroying our economy. Name one good reason why we need it? No other candidate will even address this key issue and many others that are essential for our nation's survival.

RON PAUL...DAMAGE CONTROL FOR A DYING REPUBLIC.

Howdy everybody, Joe Sixpack here. I never met you all before, but I was having some pops last night with my bud Fido and he said if I wrote this down, he’d fix up the spellun’ and put it on the internet. He’s mostly full of shit, but I did it anyway. This is about Thursday night. As we know, everyone in Washington DC are assholes of varying degree. Last week we called Sarah Palin out for being a dumb cunt and an asshole. And that's coming from me. If you're actually voting for Palin, people named cadpig, you're a dumb asshole enabler. Palin is worthless and would have the US on a road to destruction that would involve hurting our allies too. What's even more disturbing than people who watched Palin on Katie Couric wanting to vote for her ...
