they havnt been proven guilty at all. all parents have left their kids sleeping in another room while doing something esle.

its fucked up, the only reason why they were ever accused of being the suspects is because portugal's police has no idea how to do their job. they usually just fill in a form and leave it at that. but the mccains got on the news and the net to spread their plea for help....then the lard in the police bereaux went "oh shit...now we have to work, WTF did i learn back at the academy!?"

so after being so damn incompetetant, that blame the mccains and was proven wrong. this is fucked up, they lost a child and are blamed for it without proof and now charged just so the portugese police can look less incompetant.

fuck them, im never going to portugal because of their ineptitude

This is just cruel - as if Madeleine's parents haven't been through enough already. And why is it only the Mum who faces jail? :S

The parents may have done wrong but now what?

What about the two Children that are still there, do you really think they deserve to have their parents taken away from them at this tragic time?

And though the parents may have done wrong do they deserve and need to be jailed to learn that they did wrong? ... Don't you think dealing with having their daughter been taken is enough to deal with?

They need to be offered psychological family therapy. Now is a time they should stay close together and form a feeling of secure atmosphere for both the parents and the children.
