I'm canadian.

But I generally don't go around yelling it in peoples faces, or bastardizing their native language that we borrowed.

And I don't go around ragging and generalizing every single American I see simply for being part of the United States. I know for a fact the US has a lot of smart people, its just the dumb fuckwads that happen to make the news.

I've listened to Celine Dion.

She was a fucking mistake.

The titanic was ok.

By the way, we didn't steal your language. We just borrowed it without consent, and refuse to return it.

@tvpirater

"Celine Dion and Bryan Adams are both very GOOD and very successful artist."

Lies. Successful? Maybe. GOOD? I think not.

I have heard both of their music and they do indeed suck the fat one.

As for Titanic, I have never watched it. Someone told me how it ends and ruined it for me.....

You kind of missed the fact that my post was a wind up there didn't you?
Ah well, perhaps your sense of humor will kick in when you hit puberty :)

@Mattdk

We demand you return our language immediately. We also demand you ensure Celine Dion and Bryan Adams never come to the UK again or we will be forced to send over the spice girls in retaliation.

I think one thing he failed to mention, at least for men in the US, is that men have to sign up for selective service, and while there may not be an actual draft at the moment, we still have to perform this act and if congress and the president should decide, men could be drafted. Women want equality? They have to sign up for the draft, or work to get rid of the selective service.

I also read an interesting editorial a few years ago which pointed out a lot about the "unfair" female wages. While it is as biased as the opposition, it was eye-opening, and was just stating the fact of how men work more overtime and take less breaks. Women would also take maternity when it came up. All the guy pointed out was, if you were a boss and you were giving someone a raise or a promotion, who would you promote? On average, men are there, if I remember correctly, 4 more hours a week. Also, after the mother goes on maternity leave, and she comes up, who are you going to give a raise or a promotion to? Someone who will in all likely hood be there for years to come or someone who may end up taking an extended leave again in the near future, who also has less experience for the same age on the job and who won't work overtime as much?

Now, I'm sure this doesn't fully explain it, and there are probably a lot of cases of sexism in the work place against women, but it does give a very good, non-sexist explanation of why men get raises and promotion more often.

'Most of my fucking teachers are feminist and they are always pushing their shit on us, for example when they repeat a quote from Galileo they replace all the "mans" or "men" with "persons" or "He/she".'

Considering it's supposed to mean (hu)man yes, she is a retard. She should change 'amen' to 'aperson' and 'mango' to 'he/shego'

A little extreme. Anyone who says they fight for on minority group is usually a wascko. So best to ignore them. Unfortunately our society panders to them.

Also @MenstrualPoetry won't comment here. She might but she will only call you stupid, pout, and then leave. She can't stand in a debate.

I have spoken against Feminism since I was old enough to understand the basis for it. While I know that Shoutwire is a place where religion is usually blasted (and normally I agree with those comments) I do believe that in the choices of a woman are null and void once she starts to bring children into the world. You, as a woman, have brought a being onto the planet, and until such time as that being has grown into a healthy, self sufficient person your tasks every day should revolve around the raising and caring for that child.
I am a stay at home mother, and have been for 6 years since our daughter was born. I believe that my place is here, to maintain an sense of normalcy for her.

^^That's your choice it may not work for everyone. Also what this guy talks about is not healthy feminism. That should be noted.

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
