In Response to Menstrualpoetry's Post on Shoutwire

Seeing as I can't figure out how to post a damned editorial, and this is my first submission, I linked to my blog. Admins, I hope this is ok, as its not listed in the guide lines. Anyways here ya go. This little video really, and I do mean REALLY pissed me off. First off, all men are not rapists, assholes, misogynists, or abusers. There are those of us who fight against it just as hard as the women do. I personally am a man that would kick the living shit out of a guy who was abusing a woman.

This is a foolish assertion. Of course you wouldn't know unless it happens, but to make this a point discredits all the other fucked up shit in the world to make ONE event seem more important than the rest.

For example,

"Until you've been shot you have no idea how it affects your life and the lives of everyone around you."

"Until you've been attacked by terrorists you have no idea how it affects your life and the lives of everyone around you."

"Until you've been diagnosed with cancer you have no idea how it affects your life and the lives of everyone around you."

There are all sorts of injustices and indignities to this life. If you have a problem, fix it. And if the way you're going about fixing it isn't working *ahem* try something else.

There are a lot of people who experience fucked up shit. The difference between them is that some deal and some go around blaming others for their misfortune.

That girl in the video. I had sex with her. Seriously, she'll probably get pretty upset after seeing me on here but whatever. Here's the facts. She's super hairy downstairs but it's alright. I bet that lady in the video puts on a strap on and then lashes herself 50 times to "punish" the masculinity in her. Then she cries herself to sleep wishing the whole world was run by women so they could have support groups and hold each other's nipples and prance around talking about emotions and lactating.
