The day before the tragedy of 9 11 Rumsfeld was forced to announce that the Pentagon could not find what had happened to 2.3 TRILLION dollars, I don't know about you but I'd make sure that I knew where that much money was going, apparently that is equivalent to 8,000 dollars for every adult in America. It also seems a little suspicious that this announcement came just before the "terrorist" attack and also that bulding 7 was the building that housed the evidence of this.

this is old news - I thought everyone knew about this!

also are you sure about it's 2.3trillion.

Noam Chomsky gave a speech well before (and repeated the same thing again after 9/11) saying that there's too many people on the liberal side running around with different causes. He said if you want to get angry about something - then ask what happened to the 3trillion dollars thats gone missing. Thats got to be a major nailing point for the Bush (and Clinton) administrations.

I think he's got a very good point!

put these bastards in jail already:

The Original Thirteenth Amendment
Ratified March 12, 1819

"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."

The most likely truth of the matter is that 9/11 was orchestrated by the military industrial complex of the united states. The evidence for this is too numerous to mention, including the suspicious state of air defense at the time of 9/11, the 'drills' that were running the entire month up until 9/11, the military refusing its own members to aid the 9/11 uncovering campaign, and many many many many other things (go see a documentary, or read some information on this stuff...you'll see what I mean if you don't already know)

I'm not trying to argue that this was the biggest heist in all of history, and that the american industrial military complex was responsible. I don't know who decided that killing Americans in order to sway public psyche was an acceptable thing to do in order to keep the military strong and funded, but it was decided as is obvious.

Osama was trained by the CIA. The hijackers were trained by the CIA. 11 or so countries even warned the US that the attacks were coming. They KNEW it was going to happen because they were PLANNING it. Thus, they made sure nobody stopped it. The military is not that inept. Why do you think terrorists never ever ever hit America otherwise?

And now for the meat of my post:

WHAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE OF IS THAT A PREVIOUS AMERICAN PRESIDENT NOT ONLY WARNED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ABOUT THIS DAY BUT SPOKE AT LENGTH ABOUT IT. IT IS IN THE HISTORY BOOKS.

And that was President Eisenhower's farewell address to the nation where he said (in part):
" In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

But the citizens of America became docile and did not watch the military. They did not pay attention to the state of affairs of the most awesome godless force in all of history, and so here we are. We're all to blame for 9/11, sadly.

You have to realize that THOSE IN POWER in America realize that it is very important for America to keep its military might. And when the more than half of all the money in America is spent on the military....well....it is pretty damned significant.

Couple that with the philosophy (read the book 'the grand chessboard') that the only way the American people would get behind the American military so as to allow the military to improve american defense is to have another 'pearl harbour like catastrophe' that is believed by people like cheney and rumsfeld and so on...well...it's no fucking wonder 9/11 happened. Shit, no one should be surprised if they did their homework.

Anyway, go read eisenhower's farewell address...here's a link: http://coursesa.matrix.msu.edu/~hst306/documents/indust.html

P.S. read about "globalization". This is what is happening in today's world...and shit like staged 9/11 'pearl harbouresque' events are going to keep happening because some very powerful people believe that it is in their best interests to SPEED UP THE PROCESS.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong or whatever. That's a pretty deep subject with a lot of twists and turns. But, I'd like to point out that it is happening because of things like air travel, telecommunications, the internet, free trade, the environment...

The environment because now we are noticing an impact of our industries on the environment. And mother nature doesn't really respect borders. So, if America pours toxic waste in the ocean it's not like the toxicity is only going to affect American fish and never go anywhere else...

What I'm trying to say is...we've outgrown our countries and that is apparent with the multinational corporations that exist which make more money and have more power than most countries in the world. They are not responsible to any people of any one country...they are there...above all governments and borders. They can go wherever they like, sell wherever they like...out source...etcetcetc...

Globalization is happening and if you don't want to be turned into a bunch of humanoids that have lost their humanity and are like little gears in a big machine that can be easily replaced...well...I think we need to take part IN that globalization...

and not just leave it to bush to design as he see's fit.

A good place to start is this whole net neutrality business. Just imagine if the internet as we know it ceases to exist...with all the research done on advertising and television brainwashing the world will definetly turn into an orwellian nightmare if all the information we see is only coming from ONE rich corporation that fucking owns everything.

I suggest you inform as many people as possible about what is happening in America right now (even if you're not American), and explain to them WHY turning the internet into global television is really FUCKING DANGEROUS.

I used to be a strong bushy, but I've decided about two months ago that 70% of the country can't be wrong about him being a bad president.

After reading posts like these on Shoutwire, I'm starting to re-reconsider. If the image of Bush-haters (I don't care what you call yourselves) is a middle-age, aluminum foil hat-wearing conspiracy theorist, it might be possible that the Bush-bashers are a tenth as rational as the irrational Bush administration.

After seeing the way news networks alike jump on the government for everything (i.e. Guantanamo Bay torture allegations), why wouldn't CNN or any news network jump on a story like this.

Somebody that disagrees with me to this point would say that the government bribed the news with billions of dollars in bribes or something. Well, if the Bush Administration was so good at keeping shit of this significance secret, no one would hear of the Scooter Libby leak or any other major screw-ups.

WTF^ They haven't kept this secret, Rumsfeld ANNOUNCED IT. I'm glad you decided to see the right way but I think maybe that overused Muslim-hating part is starting to come back into play. The Government owns the news, at least these days, you've heard of such things as New York reporters being told that they will lose their jobs if they go to 9 11 conventions and how they were staging a protest about the lack of free speech, I wonder why that story wasn't so widely broadcasted... The important point is that CNN and Fox etc. may jump on the Government for small things but they seem to avoid anything big enough to actually cause a dent. Thanks for your comments guys, I had no idea this post would cause this much debate. Ant.

Its not about conspiracy its about an administration shirking resposibility. Something like that is never truely lost and if it is it would be something to be more concerned about than a couple of trillion dollars.

"an administration shirking resposibility."

Here, let me break it down for you...

The missing 2.3 trillion was brought up at Rumsfeld's CONFIRMATION HEARING which took place on JANUARY 11th, 2001 by Senator Robert Byrd. Now we all know that CONFIRMATION HEARINGS are not private and in Rumsfeld's case, occured BEFORE Bush's inauguration. Now, if the missing 2.3 trillion was brought up at Rumsfeld's CONFIRMATION HEARING which occurred BEFORE Bush's inauguration, that means that the 2.3 trillion went missing BEFORE Bush was president.

I'm sorry if I wasn't CLEAR ENOUGH for you.

And to back up the comment by the above, you lovely theorists have not managed to explain how much went missing when. Over a few days I can lose a few dollars. Over a few years I can lose hundreds. One trillion dollars would be extremely hard to hide within a one year, let alone a smaller amount of time.

The extreme measures necessary to hide that amount of cash and make most people not suspect anything would be impossible and improbable.

Had I lost one hundred dollars in one day, I would sure as shit have noticed. It is unfortunate that some pepole think it would be possible to hide two to three trillion dollars within a few years, and no one would go "hey, I think I remember there being a little more in this bank account." Actually, replace 'unfortunate' with 'retarded.'

And as far as the infamous and almost religiously masterbated over building 7, I can assure you it did not take even one trillion dollars to implode a building. A couple thousand would have done the job, and maybe looked a bit less conspicuous.

What I find the most perplexing and thought provoking is that the same people who think Bush is a dumbass unfit to be president also claim he is the most devious and cunning president who is incapable of orating a complete speech without screwing up, but can somehow manage to hide a monstrous amount of money and do a barrage of other sophisticated plans and master schemes without the American public figuring it out.

All I can say is that I may think Bush is not the brightest crayola in the crayon box, but you lil c. theorists have made him look like the goddamn sun compared to your 30 watt conclusions.
