But, if you're reference is to Terrorstorm, man, that film was so full of holes it was laughable. For example, Jones' suggestion that the 7/7 London bombings happened to ensure that on a wave of terror fueled patriotism Blair would win that year's general election ... a general election that had been held two months before the attack and one that he won with a comfortable majority of over 60 seats.

If it is Terrorstorm then one of the sources of the 'confession' for the Liberty attack Amnon Tavni, has gone on the record to deny having anything to do with the attack (A. Jay Cristol, The Liberty Incident, p.130), even though Jones says otherwise.

As for your Johnson quote, this has been investigated by folks over at Randi.org and they suggest that its "Patently absurd. No evidence for this... a second/third-hand tale at best".

Histrionics and handbags aside, I agree that it was terrible for these plans to be devised. I agree with your sentiments about the role of government and rights of the people.

I should have been clearer. When I say Northwoods, I dont mean explicitly only the operation or its concepts, but the Northwoods case as an historical instance, which includes its eventual dismissal. Not the actual plan in itself, which was reprehensible. I still dont know if that's any clearer.

I have little faith or trust in your military leaders, and only a little bit more in elected officials, but do believe that perhaps there are some who would not put the extension of the Monroe Doctrine before the rights of the people... mebe I'm just being a tad naive, but I'd like to think that there are some elected officials who acknowledge that there are some things that, though they are conceived, are just not done. And they weren't done. And they still have not been done. I dont believe 911 was an inside job, the evidence, as yet, has failed to convince me.
