There is no Honor, no Glory to be had in this war. That above ALL reasons, is why it should end...yesterday.

"There is no Honor, no Glory to be had in this war."

There is honor and glory in doing your job and your duty. He enlisted into the military, and he kept to his responsibility. Soldiers do not pick and choose their wars, their duty is to follow orders and stand up as men to fulfill their obligations.

Regardless your opinions on the politics of this war, this man deserves our full respect and his family our heart-felt gratitude. He left as a soldier and returned as a hero in my book. No amount of political crying changes that fact that he served his country and died doing it.

In Britains case I can't really think of an example, WW1...no....WW2....no, those wars were just as pathetic and hypocritical as the current ones but I am sure you'd disagree.

Hyena, you're way off kilter here. Any leader who isn't looking for an immediate and definitive end to the Iraq police action in which our soldiers are forced to participate, which should not exist in the first place, is contestable in my book.

If you're doltish enough to take McCain's flip-flopping on his original 100 years statement, and comments of implied solidarity with Bush's outlook on Iraq, that's unfortunate. After being taken to task, you know its not uncommon for politicians to back-peddle and put revision to use. In such a situation, where we're losing family, friends and loved ones to a pointless conflict, there is not time for such nonsense or games.

True. That's why it's our duty to speak out for them and to ensure that they don't lose their lives in pointless political conflicts, as Dockwats said.

You're an idiot. I don't need to go into why. You're a hypocrite, but I'm sure you'd disagree...faggot.

Sign up for it, you deserve it.

Wow, that statement speaks high levels of douchebaggery. He enlisted with the possibility of not coming home, but he did not deserve death if he was doing us here on computers a favor. What if noone signed up? Either .. we make a parking lot out of the whole middle-east or what, huh? Draft?

(Btw, are you actually a game tester?)

FidoQuick Take On The RNC
Being an open minded individual, I decided to spend a couple hours watching the Republican national convention in St Paul, or Minneapolis, Minnesota, or wherever it is. I had initially tuned in to watch Sarah Palin’s address, in order to maybe get a read on what she may be all about. I regret that I couldn’t get that far. After viewing Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani speak to the delegates, I felt an overwhelming need to seek asylum in another country. ...
