It may also be seen as the cinical argument, but i don't see it as being that bad. I truly believe that if weed did become legal, it wouldn't be long before people would start campaigning for E as its not really that bad. The difference is for those situations it would be benefiting the people not the gov't. However censorship only leads to a more dominant gov't and a position of power over the people. Even though this is blown out of proportion its the same for this site, by doing what they want and censoring anything that is critical of them they will destroy the essence that is shoutwire. By this time next year you could have a fucking 1984 totalitarian state on your arse with any names recognised with freedom of speech a mere whisper in the wind... nah i don't know what i'm saying cept that maybe if this kinda shit is kept up some of the core providers for this site could choose to move on and the site becomes nothing more than some shitty site that has news on, like every other site out there (only with a lesser fan base and therfore more adverts).

I've been coming to this site for months now, just finally created an account to comment, in fact I started coming just as the whole Ad problem began before. I've seen everything happen and I have to say, Adblock FTW!!! Other than the 2 site link ads it's all I ever see.

On another note, i could have sworn that about 1 hour ago there was a link on the front page about how Google got rid of the Adsense account of Anonymous. I may be wrong but if I'm right and the link was there it was also censored since I was reading the article, came back to shoutwire and didn't see it anywhere. Anyone else notice this?

shit, 1/2 of those people will never get here anyway since you cant actually get to the site from its main address.

i was looking thru google for something and saw a shoutwire article that i missed somehow, clicked the link and guess what? it did nothing. I clicked it 15-20 times and it never brought me to the site.

i come here to log in, cant get to any site other than 'submit article' then i have to click my profile 15-20 times before it will eventually load.

i have the patience to fight with this shitty site, most people dont, and first time visitors are DEFINATELY not going to come back if they have to give their browser a handjob before it will connect, then when they get here they're assaulted by shitty ads, redirects, popups, and lame ass softcore porn pics that have been submitted by the loser thats supposed to be fixing the site, and he obviously cant because it's been over 2 months and all he's done is fuck the site up more, ad spam, and post low quality porn pics from 1992.

they wouldnt have to resort to such shifty and lame ad revenue if EVERYONE could get to the site in one click.

but they're not interested in actually fixing what's wrong, they'll just keep throwing ads in since thats easy and our retarded coder cant figure out how to fix this site.

nice scam he's got going on here.

digg isnt that bad, and you can be just as shitty in their comment section without having to deal with all the stupid shit that this site does.

I'm sick of the editorials making it to the front page along with bashed articles while actually interesting articles get buried under pages of ads and hissyfits. This one is fine, but you admins need to at least try and use your powers wisely. This is some sort of democracy isn't it?

It's not terrible, but on the front page here is 2 ads, 4 editorials, and 12 comments. It's tolerable, but I'm keeping my eyes on you guys. ;)
