To anyone who is of the opinion that a soldier is to have no opinion on what they are ordered to do are just plain retarded. So what would have been bad about being in the German army in WWII and deciding to stand up and say, "Fuck this shit, I'm outa here!"? Not that we're to that extreme (yet) but things in Iraq are going south and no one can deny that. To top it all off it's an illegal occupation. So, this guy needs to be commended for standing up for the law and having balls in the face of near fascism.

By not going, he is wasting tax payers money, the military's time, etc. He's taking all the benefits of the military, and not doing his job.

George Bush just sent the soldiers to retaliate against the attack at 911. Many forget that this was thought of highly at the time in the majority of the public, because everyone was so pissed off about the attack

But Congress is the one who decided to keep them there.

The president DID NOT and CANNOT declare war by himself. SO anyone else who wants to say that can keep their mouth shut.

How cowardly is it to let someone all that money into you for over six years and when it's your turn to deploy you say no.

I don't believe they should even have political parties. Was it not in George Washington's last speech as president that he said, "The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism." ?

Political parties fucking suck. People don't even care what the person's goals are or beliefs are. They just vote for whichever party they belong to.
