The latest BS to emerge from the RIAA are cease-and-desist letters to Youtube users who have dared to put up videos of things such as themselves dancing to music they haven’t licensed. Clearly an insanity plea no longer covers the RIAA’s stupidity. From trying to orchestrate illegal takedowns in other countries a la The Pirate Bay to sending cease-and-desist letters to some poor user who has just recorded himself doing silly things to a song no one will even remember a week later.

if any of the you tubers are reading this. look, i'm sure the sound quality isn't the best, which works in your favor, it doesn't count as a copy of the music, if the quality falls below a cirtain threshold.

and incidently, publicise everything they try to do. safety in numbers.

these gustapo people need to get treated to some police brutality or something.

What I want to know is when did the RIAA get commishioned as the net nazis? Do they think that filling lawsuits against their customers are going to get them to buy their product. Hell that would make me want to download it out of spite,and then distribute it to all my friends for free.

@LukeRepresent

Smoking pot doesn't make you an asshole or do stupid things, it only makes you enjoy watching stupid things. Only stupid people do stupid things.

I've heard of many websites that have been taken down for hosting videos of video game footage (World Of Warcraft, Battlefield series) because the people uploading the videos would often time add some music to the clip, of course without permission.

So, as far as I'm concerned, there is no limit to their INSANTITY, and they will do whatever the hell they please. Makes me extremely happy I haven't purchased a non-blank CD since 1998...

Screw you, RIAA, I hope you all burn in hell. Pricks.

quincy0191Infinity Ward VERSUS! Activision-Blizzard
The gaming world is abuzz with news of corporate villainy as Infinity Ward CEO Vince Zampella and president Jason West were fired last week under rather suspicious circumstances. According to reports, both employees were being “insubordinate” and their firing coincided with the arrival of some “bouncer types” on the Infinity Ward campus.This development just reeks of evil. The charges of insubordination are appropriately vague, and the additional fact that the firin...
