The latest BS to emerge from the RIAA are cease-and-desist letters to Youtube users who have dared to put up videos of things such as themselves dancing to music they haven’t licensed. Clearly an insanity plea no longer covers the RIAA’s stupidity. From trying to orchestrate illegal takedowns in other countries a la The Pirate Bay to sending cease-and-desist letters to some poor user who has just recorded himself doing silly things to a song no one will even remember a week later.

You'd think they'd give up after awhile. I mean, come on, if you keep suing people left and right that actually BUY your products and then use them as they see fit (Short of the whole illigal distribution), eventually those same customers are going to find new ways of getting what they want. When will these orginizations learn that the more you push people like this, the harder the backlash.

Hell, i'm kinda surprised that there's been no major offensive against the RIAA electronic wise. (And no, i'm not trying to convince anyone of doing anything rash, i'm just saying. =D ).

Long Live Piracy. =D

it'll be funny when the riaa ends up suing all the internet, coz it's breaking the law. soon we won't be able to buy CD's, cos the riaa considers it to be illigal. THE RIAA CAN KISS MY ARSE, COZ I'LL DOWNLOAD WHATEVER I GODDAMN WANT!

grrrr, the RIAA makes me UPSET!!!!! What do they want, every citizen buying cds and dvds at outrageous retail prices? Most of us non-rich people buy them used from e-bay or even at most cd retailers, who now have more than 1 bin of used cds and dvds, if they sell these stuff online, and charge per download, then they would not make the superbig profit they now make when they sell a retail cd/dvd. It's time to boycott retail cd/dvd shopping. Then the distributor mafia will end, and people will buy what they want online. And they should not outlaw people dancing to some music on YouTube, what imbeciles! some people muy like the music they have not heard of before and go and buy it - online, of course.
