Delving into more than just the politics of the issue, we find something much more important.
We live in a strange new world. For the first time since the Commander and Chief of the United States of America began to be referred to as “The Leader of the Free World,” it may not be a middle aged, or downright old, white man filling that position.
This is a conundrum for most white supremacist organizations and shit nuts individuals who live in backwoods trailer parks with their sister/wife, many of whom swore a long time ago that a black man would never become their leader and if he did, they would shoot him themselves. Good thing for us those guys are shit stupid as well and never accomplish anything but making good fall guys for the CIA and mafia when someone needs to take the blame for another guy’s deeds.
More than the color of his skin, however, Mr. Barack Obama, the man in question, has to worry about the content of his policies. The folks over at the Haliburton Corporation won’t be too happy to see he is ready to end the conflict in Iraq, seeing as how they make billions over there these days. His universal healthcare idea I’m sure doesn’t excite pharmaceutical companies. Not to mention the oil giants, who could stand to lose more than all the others combined.
A lot is going to be shaken up… and it will be time to see just how far we have come in this new millennium. The possibility of the assassination of Barack Obama is higher than it ever has been for a US President. This is something that an entire generation of Americans has never seen, and not since Kennedy has it even been around. A man willing to risk his life for change…
Obviously it is something the man himself knows. Of course it has been discussed thoroughly amongst Mr. Obama and his closest advisors and family. Words were spoken and a course of action was decided on. We all know what that course of action was… and what is at stake.
Our problems will not be fixed overnight. Mr. Obama will be a small step on the long road to restoring America’s greatness, one it seems we have been walking backwards on as of late. The smallest step, however, is often the hardest to get over.
The time is coming. Make no mistake about it. John McCain has no chance against the great Obama Express. He lost the race months ago, he just hasn’t accepted it. The next President of the United States will be Barrack Obama, regardless of what corporate or white trash America thinks about it.
Regardless of the course taken, the next few years will resound throughout history. Possibly even louder than the last eight. Not just for America, but for the entire world. Many players will be involved and it is sure Obama will figure prominently amongst them. How… well, that is yet to be decided.
