I got scary little email from my ISP today...

I just got THIS email:

I think you're getting what you deserve by downloading that God Awful movie. I think they are gonna bring you to court on the count of you having awful taste in movies.

On a sidenote, Verizon is a known accomplice to big brother and I think, again my personal opinion, that this is a scare tactic on their part. Verizon is inbed with big government and on the forefront of fascism.

But since I know that you are also a zionist fascist prick, you will not want to take heed of this message.

Yeah, I think the consensus is the true crime was which movie you downloaded. PG2 or safepeer are necessities when downloading, haven't had a letter yet, but I only download around 6GB a day, with a dl/ul ratio of .067.

With the many ways to spoof ip addys and mac spoofing, surely a good solicitor could get you off if you were taken to court. I'd like to think I'd make a spartan stand for pirates everywhere if I was caught, but I'd probably bottle it and settle. Luckily, my ISP has consistently refused to co-operate with the movie/music industry, long may it last.
