Unluckily for you Hawaiians! "If these bills pass in the regular 2010 session, residents will not only need the state’s permission to buy gasoline but will in essence need permission to work and buy food, that is unless they walk or ride bicycles to work or the grocery store" Truly a free land!!!

So you're claiming the Hawaiian government suddenly made this up all out of themselves and are not in any way progressing on a line of thought introduced under GWB?

Touché my ass wagermeiser.

^You clearly don't know how liberal Hawaii's government is. Aside from the governor being Republican:

-Both senators are democrat
-Both House Reps are democrat
-48 members of their state house are democrat (8 are republican)
-20 members of their state senate are democrat (5 are republican)

They embrace the welfare system more than any other state.

Trust me, the only thing the GWB thinking is going to do is get a fancy veto.

Dude...do some research before spouting ignorance.

^ I've done my research. Solid research.

And you know what?

HaloTwister already worded my viewpoint on this matter.

"^ DUR HURR DERP DERP DERP I THINK THERES A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS HURRR DERP DUR HURRR"

Can you spot the sarcasm, tank?

In hawaii, there is a big difference.

The non-differences exist typically at the national level.

Fundamental similarities involve:

-Legalized robbery of citizens by gov't
-Non-listening to constituents in order to further political agenda.
-Lying

This big brother bullshit...republicans tried the Patriot Act...it worked to some degree. Not really 1984...but grabbing people by the economic balls in a world that revolves around money??

THAT'S how you get total control.

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
