If the US gov't is really pulling all the strings and everything is a conspiracy. Then why did they not just plant WMD's in Iraq and make themselves look really good? Doesn't make sense huh? That would have been so easy to do compared with things like 9/11....keep dreaming and hoping you conspiracy idiots...

Let me put it simply and realistically without flaming anyone and without using a thousand exclamation marks or capitals.

- The terrorists were real and are real.

- The government overhypes every single threat so they can have more power over us.

It is not a conspiracy. But neither is the government innocent of wrong-doing. It is stupid to claim there aren't any terrorist threats and that they are all government concoctions. However it is also blatantly obvious that the governments of the US and UK are power-hungry propaganda-spewing freedom-killers.

They know that terrorists could still hijack a plane with the materials already onboard (hot coffee, plastic utensils, plastic bags, etc.), the security increases are just to appease that portion of the public that likes to be appeased and doesn't actually look into things.

Were successful and no intelligence detected the possibility of the threat. Hence I reiterate second guessing is pointless, but more interesting is we accept the fact that it is impractical and pointless to police the buses and tube with same vigour we are using at the airport.

I was in tottenham ct rd the day the IRA detonated a bomb in Marks and Spencer the next day I walked past the site on my way to work, Thats why I see the pointless fuss being made to avert something the security forces have no idea as to when or where is going to occur.

Airport security is pefectly good enough the way it was before recent events - I reitierate to you that force of will is the governing factor here not clever detective work another terrorist device will explode on the UK mainland nothing will prevent that. In the meantime you need to keep security measures in perspective

To all anti-Muslim/arab-people flaming on and on about how muslims and their religeon is the cause of all this violence please read about Islam before criticizing it.I my self am a (Moderate) Muslim.let me put things into perspective using some examples of the recent Lebanon-Israel War. Imagine a family taking shelter in an apartmet during an Israel air-raid.Unknowingst to them at 10,000 feet an israel bomber releases guided bombs towards the appartment (apparently to kill some Hezbullah Chap).The family (like so many others in the building)huddles in terror as they hear the bombs fall close and closer.Three days later the eldest son wakes up in a hospital with machines strapped to his bode supporting his battered body.Here he learns that his family has been killed.In the following days he recieves news of members of his extended family being killed.After he recovers he goes to attend the funeral of his Parents, siblings, and friends that have been killed during the bombing.He later learns that the bombes droppet from the israli planes are supplied by America. In the news America(BUSH) supports israels action.

This child like many others will grow with the deepening feeling of vengence towards america and may even plan to launch attacks on american soil/People.

This is not a story.There have been many cases of this happening in Other arab nations due to American warfare.

I am not blaming the american people buth rather their foreign policy and the actions of their goverments.
