1.) The author's issue wasn't so much that liberals hated certain black leaders, and were therefore assumed to be racist arbitrarily, but rather, the methods of which these authors penned their disgust.

Putting someone in blackface and using uncle tom references is racist. It's saying "you're only up this far because you sold out." Nevermind the fact that the person in question (Rice, Steele) worked their asses off, they just represent a party that these particular cartoonists don't like.

I read Henry Paine daily (he's a syndicated conservative cartoonist). NOT ONCE has he "uncle tom'd" or blackfaced Obama...which if you really wanna look at it, you could call Obama a "sellout."

Yes blacks have been running on liberal tickets (and winning) for some time, but you don't see that as a bad thing? Team politics suggests that if you can increase the diversity (racial, ideals, etc) in your party, and cater to many ilks, you can secure stronger victories. The republicans in 2006-now are terribly narrow...hence the major losses.

Very often, these black candidates are "installed."

You really think Obama was the choice du jour of the Democratic base? Hellz no! He was painted in such a good light, and enough lies were told of him that he easily won every nomination necessary.

And such is the case for many blacks with the democrat party.

The point is blacks are elevated by democrats as if they're too stupid to do it themselves.

No because the Tea Parties we're originally centered around one message, while the new Tea Parties was essentially an f everything "liberal" or that looks like it. It had no true focus, something that a lot of true conservatives need to work on.
