My god! Why are these idiots in the Labour party pushing 'Tesco Tony' for president?. Everyone can see that Europe has absolutely no respect for him.

Although to be fair he has outstanding credentials.

War criminal:The blood of over one million innocents on his conscience (assuming he has a conscience).

ME peace envoy : He was almost 2 years into the job before visiting Gaza.

I for one would love to see him in a more prominent role in Europe...In the Hague...In the dock...In shackles......Facing trial for his crimes against humanity.

That's the only role he should have in Europe.

also note: europe has lost it's sovereignty to the imperial financiers with the final signature on the lisbon treaty. the eu is now preparing deficit suits... destroy lives to protect the money should be their motto.

Agree too on that.

What struck me in this title is the so called call "for strong leadership". That's the biggest load of crock I've ever heard. One of the biggest contenders is the Dutch pm Jan Peter Balkenende and he's the biggest douche of the universe. He is exactly the opposite of what one would expect of "strong leadership". Whenever there's a debate here in Holland about something important he runs away to hide under his rock. Not a sensible word comes out of the man. That is, of we can even call him a man. He was prime minister in 3 previous cabinets and he didn't even finish one of them. I am pretty sure he isn't going to finish this one too.

Europe doesn't want strong leadership at all. They just want a stooge. A mindless drone to fill the seat of Europe's prime minister while other people behind the curtains can make the decisions. That's why they also don't like Blair. Blair's too outspoken and he actually has some form of dominance and character. Those traits make him over qualified for the job.

But I think that at least it's good Blair is out of the picture as pm of Europe. Any English influence in Europe should be severely impaired. They got a big mouth about everything but they're the country that the least feels like they're part of Europe.
