Two months before the fall of the Berlin Wall, Margaret Thatcher told President Gorbachev that neither Britain nor Western Europe wanted the reunification of Germany and made clear that she wanted the Soviet leader to do what he could to stop it.

of course, and the fucking cunt conspired with bush to only "allow" the dangerous germans to reunify if they gave up their sovereignty... so they forced them to sign the Maastricht treaty, give up the deutch mark and be an imperial slave to the monetarist empire. now the EU is in a deathgrip, will probably be ruled by tony blair soon, and is filing deficit suits against most member states that are in a greater than 3% deficit. this will result in more people dying, but do you think the imperial overlords care? all they care about is the money. human life comes secondary in their sick monetary imperialism. but that's how they intend to reduce the population anyway.

'forced' them to sign Maastricht? That's an interesting take on history.

You are aware that John Major was PM of the UK from 1990, that Thatcher was against Maastricht? She led a rebellion against John Major over the issue, the Tories were split for years over it and it led to a vote of confidence which he barely won, and a leadership challenge a few years later.

Kohl, on the other hand, along with Mitterand, was a chief architect of the treaty:
