Banned PSN Player Sues Microsoft, Nintendo

Because Nintendo banned the Homebrew channel which he used to get a character in Mario Kart Wii, and therefore interfered with his "pursuit of happiness." And Microsoft's red ring of death error has caused him $75,000 worth of stress. I can't imagine what he would do if somebody shot him.

Good for him!

Although, I doubt he will win, or even be able to change anything. These scumbag corporations absolutely HATE anything even related to user-created content or any sort of freedom to use the console as you wish.

They decide what you play, how you play, when you play, and with whom you play.

I hope this prat gets counter-sued for just as much money. Modding your console is illegal, and should expect that one day his actions would be found out. If you want to mod your console, don't take it online or update it, retard.

As for RRoD, I imagine that he can afford XBL Gold, and so can afford the $100 to get it fixed. I also imagine that he has family and government aid that would cover it.

Whatever ailments he suffers from is irrelevant, and is simply a sympathy ploy. Do we condone serial killers' actions because it makes them happy? Is it OK to rob a bank because you feel your job doesn't pay you enough? Absolute bullshit. Hiding behind a perversion of part of the "unalienable rights" of man is bullshit.

He has 3 bloody consoles. That he got banned from PSN speaks volumes. I suppose it's possible the only illegal thing he did with the Wii is get Rosalina in Mario Kart Wii but that's hardly realistic.

This guy's trying to use his ailments as an excuse to break the law. If he wanted some "actual justice", he could ask that his Xbox is fixed for free. And a copy of Super Mario Galaxy.

Did you know that when you buy a console you're technically just buying the right to use it?

Don't you think that when you buy something, you should own it, as well as the right to do whatever you want with it?

While I do think that what he is asking for is a little outrageous, it brings to light just how anti-consumer our government is allowing corporations to become.

It goes both ways. Sony owns their network, so they have the right to ban people from their network if the user is doing something against their (sony's, which they own) term of service.

As far as the stuff he's "suffering" from just seems like a ragequitter in my eyes.

He sure files a lot of lawsuits for someone who cannot afford the $100 fix on his XBox.

quincy0191Fuck You, Norton Antivirus
I’ve been having problems with Norton Antivirus for the past few weeks, mainly relating to an issue with the ccSvcHst.exe file, which has a tendency to eat one’s entire CPU on occasion, and for little reason. The LiveUpdate feature has some influence here; if it’s not run for an extended period, and when it is run and for a short time after, it causes ccSvcHst.exe to take up 80-100% of the processor’s capacity. This is a well-documented issue online, as a quick Goog...

quincy0191It's Gettin' Hot in Herre
Pretty much everyone’s heard about the evil/saintly hacker who stole/liberated thousands of emails from a server at the University of East Anglia in England. Most publicized is the use of the word “trick” by one of the scientists when referring to climate data that did not indicate warming; essentially, the individual wished to hide the fact that there was no warming during a given period, via “creative statistics” (my term, not theirs).Plenty of climate change skep...
