I saw this way back, and loved it! Still love it!

More realistic, great atmosphere, and I love the Alien/Predator cameo ^_^

Only goes to show what indies are capable of making, and why we need more of them. So much goes unnoticed, indies need more exposure, but WITHOUT making it mainstream of turning them into the very same shit we are trying to avoid (big corporations like Sony, Disney, etc.).

You're right.

Movie/art Innovation 99% of the time comes from small guys.

And the best part is that since they are the small, underrepresented guys, they work THAT MUCH HARDER to produce this awesome shit.

Those creative restrictions (money, resources) are exactly what makes indie movies POP and be awesome.

And having those resources is what makes mainstream movies dry and cookie-cutterish.

...and unfortunately having the best opening night in cinematic history :( (New Moon).

Most mainstream films suck. Most mainstream films are also just some bland generic shit, everything is pretty much the same.

Indie films are very diverse, the very opposite of mainstream films. If you dislike an indie film, it's most probably because that particular film did not suit your taste, not that all indie films suck (i.e. the same generic shit).

I agree with you completely, but the innovation comes from indie movies (it just takes a billion movies to get ONE innovative one).

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
