On March 16, 1968, American soldiers, "the good guys," who were not under fire, entered a village where residents were eating breakfast, rousted them from their homes, raped young girls and then killed them, their siblings, parents and grandparents. When the injured moved among the corpses they lay with, they were shot again until they were still.

Now, if we apply the same logic here -- we aren't bigoted hypocrites are we? -- as some like to do with, well...say Pearl Harbour (among other events), then USA is just as hideous a war criminal as Japan (with the exeception that USA still is), and consequently USA needs to be "dealt" with, no?

^Since we're all digging 40+ years into the past, then yes.

Scout, why are you putting up "News" that I can read in my 10th grade global studies textbook???

That's not how you get shoutwire to be the best it can be. That's how you get shoutwire to be as good as....a 10th grade global studies textbook.

I mean, you didn't even bother saying anything about today marking the commemoration of the article being published, you just kinda went "My Lai massacre...Americans suck."

Would you agree that rape & massacres are a trait of "civilised" America? I mean, you have committed the exact same crimes in Iraq and god only knows what attrocities you have committed in Afghanistan.

It's from an American source! Is it really my fault that your news agencies are writing "10th grade" type news articles? And is it my fault that you're a lazy bastard who wont submit any articles?

Dude, even "10th graders" would know that it's the anniversary of the article being published.

Next time i promise to type out a better heading. Something along the lines of... Americans: Civilised or evil bastards?

All I'm saying is that if you're trying to build a case still that we're all bloodthirsty warmongers, look elsewhere.

I don't think it's possible to stop that sort of bleeding. Many have tried. It's like PMS.. just happens. You can't stop it. It also happens more frequently.

PMS from the heart.

Shouted for historical information.
Bashed for politically-motivated bullshit.

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
