According to Think Progress, Human events posted an offensive carol based in the song Feliz Navidad. To prove that the holiday spirit is all about caring about a fellow human being the renamed the song “Illegals in My yard”. The term illegal is clearly offensive and the accepted terminology is undocumented worker.

Womanistmusings:

I think you always link your site because you either:

1.) Are unaware shoutwire has a blog/editorial (if they like you) feature where you can actually do exactly what you're doing and not have to redirect traffic to your shitty site.

2.) Don't know how to actually USE blogs (maybe you can't find how to do it?)

Well....dreams do come true! My christmas present to you:

The linchpin thought to the whole argument, of course, is that America somehow impoverished their nation and is ultimately responsible for their welfare. They are all apparently children, not accountable for their own welfare, and American's are their irresponsible parents who owe them a living.

Sounds like rubbish to me.

Granted, the song isn't exactly cool either. But that doesn't make her argument very convincing.

What's funny is that spammers can't do it, but we don't consider her a spammer???? Bullshit. Zero got strung through the ringer for this shit (and other shit), why does she get a free pass?

"Self-Promotion
Most are under the impression that we have a strict "no self-promotion" policy. This policy died when Scienott left. Why? Because we feel that our readers were being robbed of all kinds of terrific, thought-provoking (or amusing) content."

zeros only input to the site was to promote low quality KG links, then he killed the site by removing our privs when we were the only ones doing anything to help it.

Plus what he did to the forums was just sealing his fate.

From a humanitarian perspective, our fellow human beings, who migrate to support their families, continue to suffer at the hands of immigration policies that separate them from family members and drive them into remote parts of the American desert, sometimes to their deaths. This suffering should not continue.

Now is the time to address this pressing humanitarian issue which affects so many lives and undermines basic human dignity. Our society should no longer tolerate a status quo that perpetuates a permanent underclass of persons and benefits from their labor without offering them legal protections.
