^Now I'm sure you're gonna write me off as a Christian nutjob, but you're an idiot.

Generally, with religion, Christianity included, the general belief is that the god in question does not provide tangibles and constantly tests it's followers.

-Generally Christians are taught to pray for strength and guidance to get through a tough time...not a gimme
-Most religions require their followers work hard to be rewarded in the afterlife.

Why would an almighty god stop a crazy lady, bullet, bomb, or otherwise?

Read up on what you're commenting on before speaking, please. This is BASIC fucking religion, and you haven't a clue on the issue.

^ He's absolutely correct gangster of luv...

Basic Religion = come up with a deity(or deities) that always 'used too' have a presence... but nowadays is hanging back expecting you to just have faith. Stories of God(s) are always past tense(for some reason) & for he/she/they to actively intervene in present Day life would just be silly wouldn't it!

It's funny, modern christians have God or Jesus active & amoung us around 2000 yrs ago... with a book written about him later.

2000 yrs ago there were no doubt countless other religions all around - like the Australian indeginous people & there rainbow serpent for e.g. No doubt they were saying exactly the same thing back then... 'Yeah, he's real alright!... hasn't been around a few thousand years now, but have faith, he'll wake up soon!'

Date: The Beginning (day one) Current mood: Creative Listening to: Phil Collins - Another Day in Paradise Posted by: THE_ONE After having been harassed interminably by all the other deities, I have finally deigned to create myself a blog. I've no doubt that it will serve no purpose other than consume precious time that could be better spent being wrothful towards hypothetical worshippers that I am yet to create. The Pagan gods have been making fun of me though...

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
