Why work to maintain a healthy weight when you can just have surgery to fix the problem later! Fuck responsibility, we'll just have modern technology take care of all our problems for us! Whoopee!

That's true to an extent.

I was half joking with my comment.

On one hand: I've been to fat and back, and if I can do it...a 24 year old with a pig's valve, 2 heart surgeries, and a pacemaker, I feel like almost anyone could... (please understand that these surgeries were from a congenital defect, not artery clogging bullshit).

However, on the other hand...when I see a 3 year old who is already morbidly obese, I have to wonder what is wrong.

Unless the mother locks the kid in a cage with cookies all day, this is just impossible. I don't know... maybe the mother is feeding the kid some sort of preservatives or something that's killing his metabolism.

Something is wrong, and I think for SOME people (i.e. a tiny minority) that's true. Do I know if that's the case with this dude? Not at all.

But yeah...too many people are looking for easy ways out.

Get off the computer for a bit and run around the block.

Quit fighting for a prime parking spot when you can save time parking in the back of the lot (time you'd be spending fighting), and you get your legs going.

Fuck...go call up Richard Simmons and begin sweating to the oldies.

I used to be very fat-sympathetic. Nuh uh...no more...I know too many lazy fucks that will just chill on the couch, ask someone to turn the tv on for them, and finally "get me my laptop, it's over there" on the other side of the room. Do I wanna ever be that guy? Hell no. What sort of life do live when you have to rely on everyone for stupid shit like that???

quincy0191Let's Kill Some Mofos!
The death penalty is a constant source of controversy in the United States, one of the last industrialized countries to keep the practice legal, and the only one to regularly kill people (Japan and South Korea have a de-facto moratorium on capital punishment). In fact, five countries are responsible for 95% of all executions worldwide: China, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Not great company, to say the least. Somewhere around fifty people are killed in th...
