these cartoons are retarded. they're disrespectful, but more, many don't have a pun, so it's like double injustice to the muslims. people say, "well, we depict our own prophets, why can't we theirs?" because they do it themselves. it just makes the newspaper that the artist works for look immature and shortsighted. they'd like to think they're provocateurs in the cocky, funny way, but they're really just selfish and bored.

The funniest thing about this whole debacle is..the 'moral' highground that the press has taken re free speech.
They went out of their way to publish pictures of a person revered by 1billion people and has never been drawn/caricatured (as they believe it is utterly disrespectful) and then they 'Can't understand the backlash.'- ANY YOU F@@KING STUPID OR WHAT?

As always the extremists take it to the bridge...
amd thats all that will get reported.
ALL RELIGION SUCKS-- if it's outside the privacy of your own home it should be TAXED.

As for muslim women being second class citizens? -- get a life you muppet, I'm married to one and as with all women , no matter how you play it they are always right and always in charge. Otherwise you end up a single prick in a bedsit with your right hand for company.

It's not so hard finding an agent who can give low prices. Look up your local newspapers and you might find one. Since my friend's mother is a travel agent, I can go to her and ask for a ticket to wherever.

And I bet that half of you in here have never traveled to any country in your entire fucking lives.

Example: United Arab Emirates. A country located near Saudi Arabia. I been to a major city over there called Dubai, which is almost a complete copy of a Western city. Think either New York, Atlanta, Houston, or whatever except Dubai is more cleaner, looks a lot more nicer, and their food is alot more tastier as well. The only thing I can bitch about Dubai is the fucking police and the expensive prices, but then again, you'll find that to most other places as well. Most people over there are Muslims and Christians that can actually live in peace without any bullcrap.

And don't even get me started about the media. They're about as biased and incompetent as "CNN" and "Wikipedia" comes.

There are so many things in this world that are taboo, in order not to offend Jews (Nazi's, Holocaust etc). Maybe Muslims should be afforded the same rights.

Religion is the cause of most of the world's problems. I live in Ireland, where sectarianism is a daily fact of life. Christians can't even agree here - what hope is there for everywhere else.
