Chill dude. I'm Muslim myself. My perspective on this matter has undergone several stages. I was outraged myself at the begining. However, I've come to realize that rallying, public demonstration (some of which sometimes become violent) are what the media is looking for. Educating myself in my field (biomedical engineering)and in the concepts of Islam is much more important at this stage of Muslims lives. We are under constant attack. So was the Prophet. He dealt with things in a peaceful manner. If we are following the teachings of the Prophet, why do some (I know the media is a bitch and only finds the aggressive ones) resort to violent means? Btw... I had always read that it was an old woman. Not a jewish man. Do you have a citation on this, so I may go and correct myself?

A lot of people keep commenting that muslims are violent. This is not entirely true. Granted, many of you have seen images and movies of Islamic extremist participating in unforgivable (in our standards) acts. However, if you look at the past 100 years major events, muslims had little to no hand in it:
Black slavery, WW1, WW2, Holocaust, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, killing of Aborignials (natives if you don't know) reducing them from millions to a couple thousands, etc... Do not be ignorant to your nations history and crimes. Humans are in general extremely violent and rash.

You are aware there are several thousand Hadiths out there. Some of which are fake. The other day I read one in which the Prophet apparently said to some man that he should read Daroud Sahriff (part of our prayer) all day. This is illogical and impossible. Islam promotes the progression and participation in societal matters.

To check if your Hadiths are valid or not, could you please give me the name of Imam's who compiled these Hadiths? Or the site where you got them from. Thanks!
