I'm talking about the following facts: Danish newspaper prints some cartoons. Muslims freak out and act like children. Other newspapers then report on the Muslims acting like children, and show the cartoons they were freaking out about (by freaking out over nothing, even more people are going to see these evil cartoons). Muslims continue to freak out and start burning flags, sending bomb threats, etc.

As for that little story you just told, I couldn't care less. It's not really relevant here. Besides, whenever a bunch of religious people want to start killing themselves, I'm a happy guy.

It take it you're talking about that Brazilian guy who got shot in the London underground? That was unfortunate, but what do you expect? A middle-eastern looking guy, running away from the police, a short time after the bombings. That was about the most stupid thing he could have possibly done. I agree with that policy, and the cop that shot him 100%. Obviously it was a mistake, but at the time, it was the right decision.

Calling Atheism a religion is almost as stupid as actually being religious. It's the denial of a God, so anyone that thinks it's a religion needs to look up the word.

Why do you keep bringing things up such as the Iraq war and Israel? That's not the topic here.

i dont neccessarily think that cussing at each other and calling names would solve this problem. We need to tell other countries and people about how seriously we take Islam.
i have seen some comments that are insulting and surprisingly written by my muslim brothers. Brothers, i know this is a very very big deal for us but cussing and insulting is absolutely not what Islam teaches. Islams teaches us patience. so chill.
And for all you all non muslims who think this is a joke, people this is not. We do NOT draw pictures of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) like christians draw pics of Jesus because we have respect for our Prophet. Now dont get me wrong all you all christians got respect for Jesus too but what the pic you drew of him looks like someone who lives in chicago. Are you all then going to consider that guy Jesus too or you all going to make a new pic of Jesus.

Hi everybody.
Im Danish.

The last week have been totally crazy. Countries in the middleeast have boykottet our products, burning our flag, and today our Embassy in Libya has been burned down.
The whole thing started as you all know because the danish newspaper "Jyllands-Posten" published some drawings of Muhammed. The reason for doing this was that a danish writer was publishing a book about Islam but he couldnt get any one to make a cover, because of possible threats from some extreme muslims. So the newspaper got some people to make a drawing of how the cartonist thought of Muhammed.
The drawings offended the Islamic world - ofcourse.
I can understand why they get upset when they worship their god as much as they do, and as a non-religious person i can se how islam is being stereotyped. I am not saying that it is a good thing that they where published, BUT we have to respect the right of free press. And i cant understand that the whole middleeast first know is getting upset, when it is not the first time that Muhammed have been drawned with critical eyes!
Some people say that we danes are racist, that we hate muslims, that we have been organising a demostration where the danish people have been burning the Coran (dont know if it is spelled this way) Things are getting out of hand, i heard some extremist saying thay want our king and prime minister to appologise, and we have to make a law so this wouldnt happen again. first of all, we dont have a king, we have a queen and she has no power at all! our prime minister cant appollogise because we have to respekt the free press. He can only say that he is sorry the newspaper have offended so many people. But still, that is not good enough.
In the past many years we have given money not just to the middleeast, but also africa etc. We give more money pr citizen then any other country in the EU.. When pakistan had that terrible disaster we gave millions of dollars and we donated clothes, toys etc etc. know they are boykotting us.. well thanks for nothing. They are boykotting our foods and even our insulin.. wonder if they also would boykot our donations?!?!?
At last, but not least. One of the reasons why the situation has escaladed, is because of af Imam called Abu Laban. He lives in Denmark, gets money from the danish goverment to live for.. Then he goes to Egypt saying he is going to help sorting out this crisis. (this he said on Danish Television!) One hour later he is interviewed on an araibic television where he supports the demonstration/boykot and praises Allah.. And then he is lying about Denmark, that muslims cant walk around free and the danish goverment is unfriendly.. I get SO PISSED.. In denmark we are paying about 40-50% of our pay to tha goverment, so people who are in need can get medical treatment, food etc etc.. I'll bet that i have been sponsering his little journey to Egypt. Can u understand the general danish frustration?

I dont have any problems with muslims. Actually i have more problems wtih people why are christians. I just want people to open their eyes and think before they talk.. the world is getting out of hand..
