President Bush stated again today that his decision to "surge" troops was based on the recommendation of military commanders: "And so I decided to, at the recommendation of military commanders, decided to send reinforcements." Unfortunately, this is a lie.

*sigh* I think our constitution needs a rewrite, and our country needs a reboot. We need another George Washington, but even if one of the many candidates stepped up to the plate, I don't think their parties would let them get past the primaries. Nah, we'd need blood. Massive riots and strikes, and I just don't think we care anymore.
