United States Still Under Emergency Rule by Presidentia...

On September 14, 2001 president Bush proclaimed emergency powers under acts from World War I and II. Usurping the powers under the emergency acts past and now enacted our actual “rule of law” is nothing more than rule by proclamation. While the ugly reality may not sit well with an American, looking the other way only allows more abuse. The time is well past an easy turning point and no election will change the current direction.

Yeah, right. Like that means anything. All it means is that no one bothered to change it back. It's just like how the US is actually still at war with North Korea. The Korean War ended with a cease-fire, but according to the records, we're still at war.

Of course. why would US Legal Codes mean anything, specially when it is to do with your legal rights? Education 2000 and No child Left behind have not failed the government. athehun11 just keep there with your head buried. The target is the same and there for the plucking.

The same legal system as before is in place, no matter how adverse this article makes this "proclamation" out to be. A new election will still be held. Laws are still created and enforced by bills being passed, followed by a possible veto, and then a 2/3 majority vote to overturn it. The 3 branches of government still play their roles the same as they have for generations. Nothing has changed.

I just told you.

Laws are still created and enforced by bills being passed, followed by a possible veto, and then a 2/3 majority vote to overturn it. The 3 branches of government still play their roles the same as they have for generations.

Your understanding of your governance is repugnant. Your grasp of freedom a complete void. Your vapid description of the "balance of powers" like quenching a thirst on salt water. Keep your head buried or read the appropriate codes which you operate under. Ignorance of the law is no excuse unless you are on the judicial bench on any level.

lol, are you saying that Schoolhouse Rock is wrong? I want you to go up to anyone that is educated in law and tell them that. I just gave you the most basic of lessons on the US legal system with the assistance of educational cartoons. Its core principles are what make up the system, and you're reduced to saying "you're stoopid, i'm right, you wrong!" (except you chose to say it with what you thought were big and intelligent words to make yourself sound smarter) in response.

Oh my goodness! My understanding is repugnant! My grasp of freedom a complete void! My vapid description and quenching thirst! Alas, poor Yurik, I knew him well! You are one of the most hilarious of users that Shoutwire has to offer.

I did not say "Schoolhouse Rock is wrong", or "you're reduced to saying "you're stoopid, i'm right, you wrong!"

Your pitiful comprehension problem now noted.

You may continue to fetch the ball now.

I really hope you're joking. If you're saying this is wrong:

"Laws are still created and enforced by bills being passed, followed by a possible veto, and then a 2/3 majority vote to overturn it. The 3 branches of government still play their roles the same as they have for generations."

...and Schoolhouse Rock confirms it, then on what basis do you argue that my understanding of goverment is "repugnant?" Do complex thoughts hurt your brain? You did say "you're stoopid, i'm right, you wrong!" You said it right here:

"Your understanding of your governance is repugnant. Your grasp of freedom a complete void. Your vapid description of the "balance of powers" like quenching a thirst on salt water. Keep your head buried or read the appropriate codes which you operate under. Ignorance of the law is no excuse unless you are on the judicial bench on any level."

This statement has no argument, you're trying to call me 'stoopid,' and you're trying to establish that 'you right, i wrong.' Not to mention that I was arguing points, and you started flinging insults like a little bitch. Hence, you have been reduced to saying "you're stoopid, i'm right, you wrong!" Do I have to teach you English Composition as well, junior?

the4thwallOn Iran, From an American Iranian
I have an Iranian background, so throughout my life I've been bombarded with opinions on the country. Not only that, both my parents were involved in the late 70's revolution, and saw youth that helped Khomeini get to power being shot down by Khomeini's followers afterwards. That's the problem with revolutions, sometimes a power vacuum can destroy what could be a beautifull transformation. On top of that, I have dual citizen ship, and voted in the last election, whi...

KhramHappy Canada Day!
Today is the day the greatest nation that ever existed on Earth began 142 years ago. Canadians have much to be proud of. However, even the greatest nation on Earth still has its problems. The Russians threaten our airspace with their shitty planes and violate our sovereign waters with their submarines up in the Arctic. We should be shooting their planes down and sinking their subs as they cross our borders without warning. None of our politicians have the balls to at...
