Like otester said use a proxy. or simply don't use the site, there are heaps of other better bit torrent sites out there.

They still wouldn't know who the user is. You could log in as daffy duck or any name. If your computer is shared, how could the riaa prove who downloaded what?

Do what screecwe posted, that Tor is proper good, just got it setup. That cookieculler is good as well, keeps shoutwire logged in =D

Yah tor is a proxy, but it does much more. Like randomized ips every 10 mins or so. one minute youre in Africa, the next you're in japan. Supposedly it also gets some of the IP "leaks" as they call them. Places where your IP can sneak through html or something. Im not an expert on the subject but theres lots of info on it on their site and the wiki.

theres also a nice little tor button for firefox which allows you to just press it to turn tor on or off.

Guys, the MPAA and RIAA will never win. They are fighting a losing battle here. The pirates will always be one step ahead of whatever processes they put in place for doing what it is we do.
