Sorry i cant find the CNN article right now but we had proof of WMDs at least in small amounts in Iraq way before these papers. Many of the original roadside bombings where done with Iraqi warheads from Iraqi missiles, infact most of those where for missiles that had a range much farther than that of the treaty restricting ranges on Iraqi missiles. Many of the warheads used contained chemical weapons, Sadam claimed not to have, but there they where on his missiles.

My buddy's cousin in iraq echoed this article, he said they have found some evidence of chemical weapons (specifically Sarin), but the US Gov/media wrote it off as "stuff from 1991 that we expected" or whatever so they didn't make a big deal of it.

If Clinton had been president during WW2, with his policy of apeasement, he would have kept us neutral and given the Japs and Nazis whatever they wanted. Intervene in Bosnia to stop the ethnic cleansing. and 3. bomb that chinese embassy after those assholes seized our spy plane and held its crew captive.

Bush is possibly the worst president ever. All Iraq, and Afganistan issues aside, he is still terrible. How is the foreign debt? What has he really done with his presidency?

A thought to dwell on, if they were so desperate for reasons to go into Iraq, do you not think that this "little publised" incident concerning chemical weapons in Jordan would have been made more public. Its what I would have done, solve all your problems, and since it is an attack against a middle eastern country, it would have minimilised the resistance from other midle eastern nations.

and RabidHounddog11, i just have to take issue with your evaluation of Bush and Clinton. to say that Clinton was a much worse president than Bush is complete bullshit. for one, Clinton didnt ruin US relations with the rest of the world and represent his country as a backward, right wing, war profiteering, murderous nation run by Christian extremists. true they were both liars, but i would have thought that Bush lying at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives was a tad worse than Clinton lying about an affair, which only served to harm his own reputation.
