I like the things Ron Paul does with his votes and the things he stands for. Real non-bullshitting motherfucker.

Hopefully all of you Paul supporters are actually planning to vote in the primary. Otherwise he won't even get nominated. From what I've heard, he is most popular on the internet. Knowing most of my internet addict friends, they don't even vote in the general election let alone the primary. Not that I support Ron Paul, but I am fully against Guiliani. I hope all you supporters plan on delivering on your support and vote for him in the primary election and not just assume he will get nominated for the general election. So how many of you plan to actually vote in the primary? Because web polls don't decide candidates people. this isn't American Idol.

I wish the guy luck but this is a tiny libertarian group and he is a libertarian candidate. I would have expected a 90% win.

An obscure group like that means zip.

Though, (if I was american) I would definitely go Tancredo or Ron Paul. All the big name candidates are same ol lies and corruption.

Remember though.
Usually - in modern politically stable western democracies. The voter turnout is about 45% - and thats for the presidential race - probably less for primaries?

So if youre the type that didnt vote either because 1) Whats one vote gonna do? 2) Im fed up with being taken for a ride or 3) Who cares?

Bear in mind that this time round with the advent of the internet and proof that the public matters again from their routing of the Senate Amnesty Bill that *YOUR VOTE REALLY DOES COUNT*. So get out there and vote.

[PS And if some good uns get elected - try and get em to pass a bill thats lets fat lazy slobs vote from home via Internet and Https ;) ]

Only the US gets turnouts that low... Probably due to the electoral college making minority views in a given state worthless.

this will be the first time ever that i vote, someone needs to clean up the mess left by hitlers fuck buddy and ron paul is the guy to do it.

the reason ive never voted is as nietz put it the electoral college makes it so only the elct get to be heard while everyone else is shut out.
but not anymore i trully feel ron paul speaks for the people and hes a no nonsense guy.

the4thwallOn Iran, From an American Iranian
I have an Iranian background, so throughout my life I've been bombarded with opinions on the country. Not only that, both my parents were involved in the late 70's revolution, and saw youth that helped Khomeini get to power being shot down by Khomeini's followers afterwards. That's the problem with revolutions, sometimes a power vacuum can destroy what could be a beautifull transformation. On top of that, I have dual citizen ship, and voted in the last election, whi...

KhramHappy Canada Day!
Today is the day the greatest nation that ever existed on Earth began 142 years ago. Canadians have much to be proud of. However, even the greatest nation on Earth still has its problems. The Russians threaten our airspace with their shitty planes and violate our sovereign waters with their submarines up in the Arctic. We should be shooting their planes down and sinking their subs as they cross our borders without warning. None of our politicians have the balls to at...
