In excess of 60 million PCs per year running pirated Windows Vista would be a worst case scenario for Microsoft. The $40 billion loss that the software industry has to take is correlated with no less than over 35% of products being pirated. Sievert estimated that over 60 million machines each year end up with some form of pirated Windows on them.

Why on earth would you even put Vista on a machine this early?

I suppose the true freeware spirit is alive without Linux.

Who knows what a vast majority of people.. who outnumber the precious few who make pricetags can do in the world of the future?

@ vipergil

I know what your saying but have you got proof of that? They are using 3 level anti-fraud validation method at the moment. So no I dont think they are letting people purposely pirate their software.

I have a friend that bought Vista for his high end rig. He lost 2 full seconds compared to XP on a prime95 test using the same hardware. He had to make a dual boot so he could play Shadowrun on Vista and do all the rest on XP. Hahaha Vista sux!!!

I installed it on my new PC to feel how it goes. I practically barfed after a few minutes of use. I hope Vista crashes and burns. It's time we get a corporate endorsed alternative!

I seriouslly doubt that many people will even run vista. With all the Vista haters out there no one is willing to even try it let alone pirate vista.
