Americans are arrogant fucks, European liberal douchebags take note.
Let’s get the stereotypes out of the way shall we. Americans are on the whole arrogant, uneducated, self obsessed, aggressive, paranoid and obese. Their culture is a joke. Hollywood is the regurgitated bile of the unartistic, their architecture is repulsive, their lifestyle is killing the planet, they idolise the undeserving, and have no aspirations or respect for anything that does not come with a price tag.
That felt good.
So why should Europe should be more American?
The US has had a short history. The New World took the crooks, the poor and the persecuted. It took everyone, the proverbial human waste of the developed world. It was a cesspool of a many nations and cultures, rife with unrecognised hope. It shook off the shackles of the colonialism and was reborn out of the ashes of a dying empire. It since has spent the last century creating a dynasty that has ruled over the world during the era of greatest human expansion. This dynasty was created on a simple maxim. America is the greatest country to live in, and Americans do everything right. They are the best.
The European Nations and the rest of the developed world have become pussies. They are playing the part of Greece to the US’s Rome. The Europeans, on the whole, consider the Americans to be barbaric. The Europeans have no desire to impose their culture on the rest of the world. They wish to live in peace and harmony with all nations. All cultures have equal rights to exist, as do all people of all races. This is a noble aspiration and one that I agree wholeheartedly with.
But the world doesn’t work like that. Europe is on its way to becoming predominantly Islamic, currently 50 million Muslims live in Europe today and a 100million in 20years time. By 2025 one third of all European babies will be born Muslim.
Now, I’m not going to start bashing Islamic culture. That gets done too often. But what I am going to do is bash the Europeans.
European culture is old and incredible. From Greek philosophy and architecture, to the Roman Senate and civil infrastructure, to the renaissance, to the reformation, to the industrial revolution, to the modern age, to art, architecture, cuisine, music, literature, film, theatre, and law. Europe has been on the forefront of civil liberties and technological innovation for much of human history. Europeans have much to be proud of. Theirs is an old, beautiful, and unique culture, and it is dying. Pride has left Europe. It seems that when a nation loses its desire to impose its culture on other people, it begins to lose that fierce pride that believes what it has is precious and should be shared.
The US still has that fierce pride. It is a young nation that still naively believes its culture should be practiced by the whole world. Europe needs that pride, that arrogant, self obsessed streak that believes the world is their playground. The unapologetic swagger that says ‘this is the way to live and we have the guts to fight for it’.
